Andy Marshall, Costa's international Chief Operating Officer, said, "The opening of our new outlet in Turkey is a major step forwards in Costa's international expansion plan and we are confident that we have a bright future in this large market. In particular we are delighted to be entering this market with the International Food Company, a subsidiary of Americana, who have already demonstrated their considerable skill and professionalism in the growth of the Costa franchise in Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon."

The company has built its reputation on the excellence of its coffee and the quality of the food and service it provides - a treat now in store for consumers Turkey.

Kilic Arslanturk, Managing Director of International Food Company said, "All across the MENA region it is clear that Costa Coffee has a firm commitment to expansion and to becoming the No 1 coffee shop chain. At IFC we are very pleased to be involved with establishing this global brand in Turkey. With the proven popularity of the Costa brand and our expertise in food and drink retailing, we believe we have the potential to grow this brand very quickly across the country."
